High-voltage frequency converter thyristor trigger control board (pulse driver board)

III. Core main functions

1. Power unit thyristor trigger drive (core function)
   Receives the optical fiber control pulse signal issued by the main control board, converts it into multiple high-power trigger levels, precisely controlling the on-off timing of thyristors / IGCT power devices in the power cabinet;
   By adjusting the thyristor conduction angle, complete the rectification and inverter power energy conversion, achieve high-voltage motor speed regulation and voltage adjustment.
   The large number of resistor arrays and pulse output socket on the board are used for the output of multiple synchronous trigger signals, corresponding to multiple groups of power thyristors.
2. Power circuit signal acquisition and status feedback
   Collects the current, voltage, temperature, and fault status signals of the thyristor unit, and transmits them to the frequency converter main control unit;
   The STATUS letter terminal block on the board is used for the summary reporting of faults, operating status signals of each power channel, and real-time monitoring of whether each power unit is overcurrent, breakdown, or overheating.
3. System multiple hardware protection logic
   Built-in short circuit, overvoltage, overcurrent, overheat detection circuits. Once the power device is abnormal, immediately block the trigger pulse, cut off the power output, protect the high-voltage power module from being burned, and avoid the entire machine explosion and grid shock.
4. Multi-channel synchronous timing control
   The internal high-voltage frequency converter has multiple series power units. This board is responsible for the strict synchronization of multiple trigger signals, balancing the output voltage of each unit, ensuring the sine stability of the output waveform, and ensuring the smooth operation of the motor without harmonic jitter.

   Power industry: High-voltage frequency conversion speed regulation of power plant induced draft fans, primary fans, circulating water pumps;
   Oil and chemical industry: High-voltage drive of large compressors, pumps, belt conveyors;
   Metallurgy and mining industry: Large power motors for main exhaust fans, ball mills, hoists with high power speed regulation;
   Cement and building materials industry: High-voltage control systems for kiln tail fans, raw material mills.
