The IS230PCAAH1A is an I/O interface board designed for the GE Speedtronic Mark VI gas turbine control system, developed by GE Vernova (formerly GE Power).

It is installed inside the VME rack of the turbine control cabinet, acting as the signal bridge between the main processor module and field instruments and actuators.

Core Functions

1. Acquire analog and discrete signals from on-site transmitters, thermocouples, limit switches, flame detectors and valve position feedback devices.
2. Condition input signals and transmit control output commands to field actuators such as fuel valves, dampers and solenoid valves.
3. Exchange real-time data with EROC main controller via the backplane VME bus, supporting closed-loop regulation including turbine speed control, fuel regulation, exhaust temperature control and anti-surge control.
4. Participate in safety interlock logic and protection signal transmission for gas turbine emergency trip protection.

Application Purpose

This board is specially applied on GE heavy-duty gas turbines (7FA, 9FA series). It undertakes signal collection and command output for unit startup, load operation regulation, normal shutdown and fault protection, which is an essential peripheral I/O component of the Speedtronic Mark VI turbine control system.
