Introduction
This is a digital expansion I/O unit belonging to ABB Advant Master S400 I/O series.
It serves to expand digital input and output channels for the base I/O unit. The module collects discrete field signals such as limit switch and valve feedback status, and outputs control signals to drive solenoid valves, relays and indicators. It communicates with the process station via MasterFieldbus, supports channel monitoring and fault diagnosis with galvanic isolation for anti-interference performance.
It is widely deployed in DCS control systems of power plants, hydropower stations, pulp & paper, metallurgy and chemical industries. This product has been discontinued by ABB, and available supplies are mainly new surplus stock and used spare parts.
