Industrial PCI bus communication interface card, designed for ABB Symphony (INFI90 / Harmony) Distributed Control System (DCS).
2. Main Functions
- Acts as a hardware communication bridge between industrial host computers and controllers of ABB Symphony DCS system.
- Installed into the PCI slot of engineering workstations, operator stations or OPC server industrial PCs.
- Enables high-speed, bidirectional real-time data exchange between host software (Composer, HMI, OPC applications) and DCS control network.
- Transmits process values, parameter downloads, online logic modification, alarms, trends and SOE event data.
- Supports proprietary system protocol to guarantee communication real-time performance and stability under industrial operating conditions.
