1.Core Functions

1. High-precision 4~20mA analog signal output for 8 channels Equipped with 16-bit DAC chip, full-scale output accuracy ±0.1%, maximum load resistance per channel up to 750Ω. Supports standard industrial 4-20mA signal, and 0~20mA mode can be configured freely with stable output and low drift.
2. Native bidirectional HART communication Supports HART master/slave communication, compatible with smart valve positioners, electric control valves and variable frequency actuators. The system can remotely read on-site equipment faults, calibrate zero and span, and check diagnostic parameters without on-site disassembly.
3. Full-channel self-diagnosis and fault alarm Real-time monitoring of channel open circuit, short circuit, output overrange and load overload. Fault signals are uploaded to the controller via DeltaV LocalBus backplane bus, triggering pop-up alarms on upper monitoring screen to locate faulty channels accurately.
4. Independent electrical isolation for anti-interference Each channel adopts 1500V DC optical isolation to eliminate electromagnetic interference from inverters and high-power motors. Built-in 2A independent fuse ensures short circuit of single loop will not damage the whole card or system backplane.
5. Hot-swap support via DeltaV system bus High-speed transmission of control commands between DCS controller and module through backplane LocalBus bus. It supports hot-swap in rack, and maintenance of single card does not require shutdown of the whole control system to ensure continuous production.
6. Wide-temperature industrial protection design Operating temperature range: -40℃ ~ +70℃. The circuit board is coated with three-proof coating for dust and moisture resistance, suitable for control cabinets with large temperature difference and heavy dust in power plants, chemical plants and oil & gas sites.
7. Modular anti-misplug locking structure Exclusive foolproof lock between module and matched terminal block to prevent wrong model insertion and simplify on-site wiring and installation.

2. Product Application Purpose

1. Compatible Control System Exclusive matching hardware for Emerson DeltaV M-Series Series 2 Distributed Control System (DCS). It is mounted on VE4050 series 8-slot I/O carrier backplane and used together with VE4005 terminal block.
2. Core Positioning Core signal output module between DCS controller and field actuators. It converts PID operation opening commands from the system into standard 4-20mA analog current signals to drive various regulating equipment for closed-loop process control.
3. Matched Field Actuators Pneumatic valve positioners, electric control valves, variable frequency actuators, dosing filling controllers, weighing batching adjustment modules, flow proportional control valves and other actuators with 4-20mA/HART interface.
4. Applicable Industries

• Thermal Power Plants: Opening control of boiler feed water valves, steam pressure regulating valves, flue gas desulfurization & denitrification regulating valves;
• Oil & Gas Industry: Pressure regulating valves for long-distance transmission pipelines, flow control of tank inlet and outlet;
• Petrochemical & Fine Chemical Plants: Closed-loop regulation of reactor temperature control valves, distillation column liquid level and flow;
• Pharmaceutical, water treatment and new energy factories for precise regulation of process medium pressure and flow.

5. Working Condition Value 8-channel intensive output allows one single card to control 8 field regulating valves simultaneously. HART remote diagnosis greatly reduces on-site inspection and maintenance cost, and high-precision output guarantees stable production process.
