Main Functions

  1. Voltage monitoring & protection Over‑voltage, under‑voltage, voltage unbalance, phase‑loss and phase‑sequence fault detection. Threshold parameters configurable for three‑phase or single‑phase AC busbar voltage abnormal conditions.
  2. Frequency monitoring & protection Over‑frequency and under‑frequency protection. Detect grid frequency deviation and output alarm or trip signals when frequency exceeds set limits; widely used for generator set grid‑connection supervision.
  3. Configurable time‑delay Independent adjustable operation delay for each protection function. Distinguish instantaneous alarm and delayed trip to avoid false tripping caused by transient disturbance.
  4. Multi‑channel relay contact outputs Passive dry contacts available for alarm lamps, buzzers and circuit‑breaker trip circuits. Fault‑state contact latching is supported.
  5. Local status indication & display Front‑panel LED indicators for direct fault‑type indication; real‑time measured voltage and frequency values can be read locally.
  6. Isolated signal input Built‑in galvanic isolation prevents primary‑side interference from coupling into secondary control circuits and improves anti‑interference performance.
  7. Fault event memory Store recent fault records for post‑fault troubleshooting.

Applications

  1. Generator grid‑connection protection: For diesel / gas generator sets. Verify voltage, frequency and phase‑sequence compliance before grid synchronization; block closing operation if parameters are out of limits.
  2. Auxiliary power & low‑voltage busbar protection: For factory power distribution, data centers, pumping stations and mining power systems. Raise alarm or cut off loads upon abnormal busbar voltage or frequency.
