Network Bridge Between Controlway Bus and C‑NET Control Network It acts as core network processor for HCU rack. Realizes high‑speed data forwarding between internal Controlway backplane bus (inside HCU rack) and external C‑NET control network. ABB Bailey INNPM12 Network Processor Module

HCU Database Management & Message Scheduling Stores HCU rack configuration database. Manages message transmission between local controller modules and INNIS series network interface modules. Handles data packaging, filtering and transmission scheduling for all nodes within the HCU rack.
Redundant Hot‑standby Operation Support Supports dual INNPM12 redundant configuration. The standby module monitors primary module status in real‑time. Automatic bumpless fail‑over will be triggered upon primary hardware fault to keep network communication continuous. Redundant pairs must use identical INNPM12 modules; cross‑model mixing with INNPM22 is not allowed.
Hot‑swap Capability & Back‑plane Power Supply Single‑slot rack installation, supports hot‑plug replacement under running system. Powered by rack backplane +5VDC, power consumption approx 10W, no external power supply required.
Hardware Self‑diagnosis & Status Indication Front‑panel LED indicators display module running status, bus link and fault alarms. Detects hardware failure, bus communication error and configuration abnormality, and reports fault information to DCS system for on‑site maintenance troubleshooting.

Note: INNPM12 is EOL (End‑of‑Life / Obsolete) legacy spare part. It cannot operate independently; it must cooperate with BRC‑series controllers and INNIS‑series interface modules in Harmony HCU rack. Original mass‑production is discontinued, only used as aftermarket replacement spare component.
