Multi-axis synchronized servo motion control Executes high-precision closed-loop position, speed and torque control for multiple servo axes simultaneously. It generates motion profiles for wafer transfer robots, slit valves, lift pins, Z-stage and pre-aligner mechanisms, achieving micron-level positioning accuracy required for semiconductor wafer handling. It supports linear interpolation, circular interpolation and electronic gearing for coordinated multi-axis movement.
Encoder feedback acquisition & closed-loop positioning Receives real-time position feedback signals from motor encoders. It compares actual position against target setpoints, dynamically adjusts servo output commands to correct position deviation, and compensates for mechanical backlash to ensure repeatable positioning for wafer loading/unloading.www.plcva.com
Host communication & motion recipe execution Communicates with the main system controller via industrial bus interface. It receives motion sequence recipes, downloads motion parameters, and uploads real-time axis position, velocity, status and fault data back to the host. It stores motion trajectory parameters locally for rapid recipe execution.
Motion interlock, limit monitoring & safety protection Monitors hardware limit switches, soft travel limits, servo faults and emergency stop (EMO) signals. It triggers immediate axis deceleration and stop once over-travel or abnormal servo status is detected. It coordinates safety interlock logic to prevent mechanical collision between wafers, robot end effectors and chamber hardware.
Onboard diagnostic & motion fault logging Integrates power-on self-test function. It records motion errors, axis following errors and servo alarm events for maintenance troubleshooting. Onboard indicator LEDs show axis active status, communication link and fault states for field diagnosis.
