Field Signal Termination & Wiring Interface It serves as the physical wiring terminal base for the Digital Input IOP module. All field discrete signals from on-site instruments are wired onto this FTA board, then transmitted to the corresponding DI IOP module via internal ribbon cable. It separates field wiring from hot-swappable IOP card for easier maintenance.www.plcva.com
32-channel 24VDC Discrete Signal Acquisition Interface Supports 32 channels of 24VDC sinking digital input signals, collecting on/off status from field contact devices. It adopts optical galvanic isolation between field side and DCS control side to block surge, noise and ground loop interference.
Circuit Protection & Line Fault Detection Integrates reverse polarity protection, transient voltage suppression and channel-level circuit protection. Cooperates with DI IOP module to realize field wire break and short-circuit fault diagnosis. Fault status can be uploaded to DCS controller and HMI.
IOP Module Mechanical Support & Backplane Interconnection Mechanically holds the DI IOP module, provides stable backplane connection. It supports hot-swap of IOP module without cutting off field wiring.
Status Indication Equipped with LED indicators for power and each channel status, to visually check signal on-site during commissioning and troubleshooting.
