5. Built-in self-diagnosis & protection: Continuously monitors module temperature, power supply, CAN bus health and sensor excitation overload. Detects circuit faults and sends fault messages to the main automation system automatically.

2. Applications

1. Primary application: Distributed field I/O unit for Kongsberg K-Chief 600 ship alarm and monitoring system.
2. Typical monitoring objects: Engine room equipment status, pump running feedback, valve position contact, fire/gas alarm contacts, tank level switch, door status and other binary dry-contact signals.
