The SIMADYN D / SIMATIC TDC high-performance multi-processor drive control system dedicated rack interface board, with the full model name LES1, is compatible with SAV1, SAV21, and SAV22 expansion racks. It is a core component for communication/signal interfaces in high-power drive, steel rolling, and power drive systems.
II. Core Functions and Applications

1. Main – Expansion Rack Interconnection Communication
   Realize high-speed synchronous data interaction between the SIMADYN D main rack (CPU rack) and the SAV series remote I/O/drive expansion racks;
   Transmit real-time control set points, feedback pulses, and synchronous clock signals to ensure microsecond-level synchronous control of multiple-axis drives;
   Carry digital and analog control signals for forwarding between racks, isolating electrical interference between the preceding and subsequent stages.
2. Synchronization Control Carrier for Drive Systems
   Specifically designed for high-power AC/DC drive equipment:
   Multi-motor synchronous linkage of rolling mill main drive, shearing machine, and winding machine;
   SIMOLINK high-speed synchronous bus conversion for large-power rectifier/inverter devices (6SE70, MASTERDRIVES);
   Multi-channel closed-loop feedback acquisition for wind power and hydropower excitation speed regulation systems.
