5FB = Identification for the V90 servo drive series
The middle digits represent the power (0.1kW to 7kW)
The last part distinguishes the interface:
UF1: Pulse version (pulses / direction control)
UA0: Profinet PN bus communication version (the one in the picture has dual encoder interfaces X8/X9, which is a PN communication model)

II. Product Function
It is an economical servo motor drive controller, specifically designed to be paired with the Siemens 1FL6 series servo motors, used for high-precision positioning, speed, and torque control, and belongs to the core component of motion control. Core function
Three control modes
Positioning mode: Precise point control (for machine tools, robotic arms, and conveyor positioning)
Speed mode: Stable speed regulation
Torque mode: Constant tension for winding and unwinding control
Dual encoder interface
X8 connects to servo motor encoder, X9 can be externally connected with an external grating ruler to achieve full closed-loop high-precision positioning, improving processing accuracy.
Various control methods
PN bus version: Profinet IO, directly connects to Siemens S7-1200/1500 PLC, bus communication;
Pulse version: Receives PLC pulse signals for control;
Equipped with DI/DO terminals (ST01/ST02), can be externally connected with limit, start, and alarm signals.
Built-in operation panel
LCD + buttons, on-site directly set parameters, view speed, alarm code, no need for computer software.
Complete motor protection
Overload, overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overspeed, encoder break line, overheating automatic alarm and shutdown.
