Siemens ACX36.000 belongs to the SICLIMAT® SAPHIR series of programmable controllers specifically designed for HVAC (HVAC controllers are not general-purpose industrial PLCs).
II. Product Positioning and Applications
This is a commercial building HVAC (HVAC) dedicated controller, specifically developed for fume hoods, combined air conditioning units, chiller units, air handling units, purification air conditioning, refrigeration equipment, and is widely used in central air conditioning systems of office buildings, hospitals, factories, and shopping malls. Temperature and humidity closed-loop control
Collect indoor / duct temperature, humidity, CO₂, and differential pressure sensor signals, and automatically adjust the cold water valve, hot water valve, humidification valve, and dehumidification valve to stabilize the environmental temperature and humidity.
Fan, damper, water pump frequency linkage
Control the supply / return fan, exhaust fan, fresh air damper, cold water pump, and combine with frequency converter to achieve variable air volume (VAV) energy-saving operation.
Safety interlock and protection logic
Freezing protection, filter differential pressure alarm, fan overload alarm, high and low temperature shutdown, fire smoke interlock, purification unit cleanliness interlock (commonly used in hospital operating rooms).
Time sequence and seasonal switching control
Automatically switch to summer cooling, winter heating, and fresh air mode in transitional seasons; start and stop at regular intervals, and implement energy-saving mode during holidays.
Building communication networking
Standard model ACX36.000 comes with Modbus RTU, and there is a derivative model ACX36.030 that supports KNX + Modbus, which can be connected to the building DDC upper-level monitoring system, configure software for remote viewing of parameters and modification of set values.
Rich IO hardware interfaces (terminal ports in the figure correspond)
Digital input DI: fan status, differential pressure switch, fire signal, door magnet, etc. passive contacts;
Digital output DO: fan start/stop, damper actuator, alarm indicator light;
Analog input AI: temperature / humidity / pressure sensor (0~10V, PT100, 4~20mA);
Analog output AO: electric water valve, damper actuator 0~10V regulation signal.
