The 140CRA93200 is a dual-channel RIO (Remote Input/Output) drop adapter module belonging to Schneider Modicon Quantum PLC series, mounted on the backplane of remote I/O sub-stations and communicating via coaxial RIO bus cable.

Core Functions:

It works in pair with the 140CRP93200 RIO master adapter on the CPU local rack, establishing high-speed bidirectional data transmission between the main CPU rack and remote I/O sub-stations through coaxial cables.
It transmits all input/output data of digital and analog modules at remote sites, enabling the CPU to read signals from field sensors and send control commands to valves, motors and other actuators far away.
One single module supports up to 27 expansion I/O modules, greatly expanding the total I/O capacity of the PLC system and solving the problem of scattered field equipment and long wiring distances.
The dual-channel hardware design supports redundant communication links to enhance transmission reliability for critical processes such as chemical, power and water treatment industries, with built-in circuit fault detection and disconnection alarm functions.
