This 1336-QOUT-SP23A is an original gate trigger assembly board exclusively designed for Allen‑Bradley 1336STG series variable frequency drives. Its key functions are listed below:

1. Core Gate Trigger Drive for Power Components As the core control board of the drive’s power circuit, it receives PWM modulation signals from the main control board, amplifies them into gate drive pulses for IGBTs or power thyristors, and precisely controls the turn-on and turn-off timing of power switching devices. It realizes variable-frequency and variable-voltage modulation of three-phase AC power to adjust motor speed.
2. Power Circuit Fault Detection & Protection Feedback Equipped with built-in circuits for current sampling, overcurrent, overheating and short-circuit detection, it monitors the operating status of power modules in real time. In case of overload, short circuit or power device overheating, it immediately blocks all drive pulses and transmits fault alarms back to the main control board to avoid breakdown and burnout of power components.

Isolated Signal Transmission for High/Low Voltage Separation Integrated optocoupler isolation circuits provide electrical separation between low-voltage control signals and high-voltage power circuits. It blocks high-voltage interference from invading the main control circuit, protecting the drive’s mainboard and PLC communication interfaces against high-voltage surges and improving overall equipment reliability.
