CI868K01-eA is an exclusive Ethernet communication interface module for ABB AC 800M controllers. It extends the Ethernet communication capability of AC800M and supports industrial protocols including Modbus TCP and EtherNet/IP. It enables bidirectional data exchange between the DCS system and third-party PLCs, variable frequency drives, smart instruments and HMI/SCADA systems. Equipped with communication link diagnosis and fault alarm functions, it avoids occupying the native communication ports of the controller, facilitating system expansion and technical retrofit.

Application Scenarios:

It works with ABB AC 800M DCS controllers, widely deployed in process industries such as power plants, chemical plants, oil & gas facilities, metallurgy, water treatment and paper-making. It is commonly used for communication connection between DCS and auxiliary equipment, upgrading legacy automation systems and interconnection of multiple plant systems, supplied as original equipment modules and spare parts for system expansion.
