2. Core Product Functions

1. Triple Redundant Independent Speed Acquisition Equipped with three independent speed measurement channels, it synchronously receives pulse signals from magnetoelectric or Hall-effect keyphasor transducers. The three groups of speed data are mutually compared to realize triple modular redundancy and fault tolerance, preventing protection failure caused by single-channel damage.
2. Electronic Overspeed Logic Judgment Built with high-precision speed calculation circuits to compute the actual rotor rotational speed in real time. Multi-stage overspeed thresholds (warning and trip limit) can be configured; protection actions will be triggered instantly once the rotational speed exceeds preset limits.
3. Unit Safety Interlock Output It is equipped with passive hard relay contact outputs. When overspeed occurs, trip interlock signals are directly sent to unit trip solenoid valves. This protection loop operates independently of DCS and PLC, and can execute overspeed trip even under power failure or communication breakdown of upper control systems.
4. Channel Self-test & Fault Diagnosis It continuously self-checks sensor wire breakage, signal loss and internal hardware faults. Fault alarms will be triggered upon abnormalities to remind maintenance in advance and avoid failure of overspeed protection.
5. Full 3500 System Coordination It uploads rotational speed values, overspeed alarms and channel fault data to the 3500 rack controller for real-time display and local data logging, and transmits related status information to plant DCS for long-term condition recording.
