1. Multi-channel acquisition of vibration and process signals This module is equipped with multiple acquisition channels to connect piezoelectric vibration sensors, velocity transducers and eddy current displacement probes. It synchronously collects critical data including vibration amplitude, phase, shaft displacement, rotating speed and equipment temperature of rotating machinery.
2. Calculation and analysis of equipment fault characteristics Built-in dedicated signal processing chips automatically perform spectrum analysis, time-domain waveform capture, bearing fault characteristic band demodulation and harmonic analysis. It accurately extracts fault signatures such as rotor unbalance, shaft misalignment, bearing wear, gear pitting and oil whirl.
3. Real-time over-limit alarm and interlock output Users can set customized alarm thresholds for vibration, temperature and shaft displacement. When equipment parameters exceed limits, local indicator lights will trigger alarms, and digital switching signals will be transmitted to DCS/PLC systems to activate safety interlocks such as unit load reduction or emergency shutdown.
4. RPM-synchronized order tracking analysis Compatible with keyphase sensor signals, it executes order spectrum analysis based on equipment rotating speed to eliminate interference caused by speed fluctuation and reliably identify faults of variable-speed units.
5. Local data storage and remote diagnostic data upload It caches raw waveforms and historical spectrum data locally. Via backplane bus, monitoring data, fault alarms and trend curves are uploaded to CSI 6500 mainframe and upper management software to support remote machinery diagnosis.
6. Automatic sensor circuit self-diagnosis Continuously detects open circuits, short circuits and abnormal impedance of sensors, and reports probe failures in advance to prevent missing equipment monitoring due to measuring circuit breakdown.
7. Standard rack-mounted design with redundant configuration Adopts plug-in card structure compatible with standard CSI 6500 chassis, supporting capacity expansion via multiple combined modules. Dual-module redundant acquisition can be configured for critical monitoring points to improve monitoring reliability of large-scale units.

2. Applications & Purposes

This card is the core acquisition module of Emerson CSI 6500 online rotating machinery health monitoring system, specially developed for online condition monitoring of high-value critical rotating equipment:

1. Thermal power, cogeneration and gas-fired power plants: Real-time vibration monitoring for turbine generator sets, induced draft fans, forced draft fans, coal mills, feed water pumps, circulating water pumps and booster fans.
2. Petrochemical, refinery and coal chemical industries: Online health monitoring of large compressors, turbine units, pumps, agitators and gearboxes.
3. Metallurgical industry: Condition monitoring of blast furnace blowers, rolling mill transmission gearboxes and large circulating water pumps.
4. Long-distance oil & gas transmission pipelines: 24/7 continuous online monitoring of pipeline booster compressor units and turbines.
5. Paper and cement plants: Early fault warning for large high-speed fans and main transmission equipment.
