The 1X01046H01L1 (VE523) is an industrial switch‑mode power supply for Emerson Ovation DCS, originally developed by Westinghouse and manufactured in USA. DIN‑rail mounted, fan‑less convection cooling design.

Specifications: AC input 85‑264 VAC wide‑range; nominal 24 VDC output, rated 10 A (240 W), adjustable 23.5‑28.5 VDC. Active power‑factor correction, built‑in over‑voltage, over‑current and short‑circuit protection. Supports standalone operation or parallel redundant configuration for higher system reliability. Operating temperature: ‑20 ℃ ~ +70 ℃.

Lifecycle Status: EOL (End‑of‑Life). OEM production discontinued. Available supplies are original surplus new spare parts or tested refurbished units, only for maintenance of legacy Ovation installations. New‑build projects adopt newer‑generation Ovation power supplies.

Typical deployment: two units operated in parallel redundancy inside DCS cabinet; one failed unit will not interrupt system power supply.

3. Comprehensive hardware protection: over‑voltage, over‑current, short‑circuit and over‑temperature protection. Front‑panel Alarm indicator for fault status, fault signal can be imported into DCS for system alarm.
4. Fan‑less convection cooling: no moving fan parts, suitable for 24/7 continuous operation in control cabinets.
5. Wide‑range AC input tolerates site‑grid fluctuation; active power‑factor correction reduces grid interference.
6. DIN‑rail clip‑on mounting for easy installation & maintenance.

Important Note: This is external DIN‑rail power unit, not plug‑in chassis board; it supplies power for the whole Ovation I/O cabinet.
