P154.R4 is a dedicated expansion I/O board for Emerson Daniel Spectra 600 (FloBoss S600 / S600+) flow‑computer platform, designed for meter‑proving applications with pipe provers for custody‑transfer metering.

Revision 4 hardware improves electrical isolation performance to reduce port‑burn‑out risk caused by poor field grounding. It integrates on‑board P148 pulse mezzanine daughter‑board for enhanced noise immunity.

Lifecycle Status: EOL (End‑of‑Life). Original manufacturer discontinued production. Available supplies are original leftover stock or used refurbished spare parts for legacy‑system maintenance only.

Mounted in Spectra 600 rack slot, powered by back‑plane, field wiring via D‑type connectors.

Key Functions

1. Dedicated prover‑related I/O: 32 digital inputs, 12 digital outputs, 2 frequency inputs, 4 hardware‑assisted pulse outputs. It acquires signals from prover detector switches & flow‑meter pulse outputs, and controls prover valve actuation.
2. High‑precision timing with double‑chronometry function: on‑board high‑resolution timing circuits capture switch‑transition events at micro‑second level, perform pulse interpolation when meter pulses are insufficient, guarantee high‑accuracy meter‑proving calculation for oil‑&‑gas custody transfer.More products: plcva.com
3. Execute automatic prover sequence, compute meter K‑factor and store proving results, compliant with API petroleum metering standards.
4. Built‑in noise filtering for pulse signals, suppress field electromagnetic interference to prevent pulse loss or miscounting.

Note: This board has NO analog AI/AO channels; general‑purpose process I/O is handled by P144 module.
