1.Main Functions

1. It is a 4-channel monitoring card customized exclusively for aeroderivative gas turbines, supporting vibration signal collection from velocity transducers, accelerometers and Velomitor probes.
2. Accepts two independent Keyphasor signal inputs. Each pair of channels can be configured with separate tracking filters including 1X vibration tracking, band-pass filtering and signal integration to extract accurate rotor vibration characteristic signals.
3. Equipped with 8 groups of multi-stage alarm parameters, with configurable Alert/Danger thresholds and alarm delays. It can automatically switch alarm settings according to different machine operating modes such as startup, shutdown and variable load, matching variable working conditions of gas turbines.
4. Continuously compares measured vibration values with preset alarm setpoints. When parameters exceed limits, it triggers system alarms and interlocks with 3500/32M relay modules to output hard contact signals for unit protective trip.
5. Uploads real-time data including rotating speed, vibration amplitude, frequency spectrum and phase to upper-level System 1 maintenance software, providing data support for equipment fault diagnosis and trend analysis for operation & maintenance staff.
6. Compatible with TMR triple modular redundant architecture to meet high safety level operation requirements of gas turbines and reduce false trip risks. All logic, filter and alarm parameters can be configured via 3500 Rack Configuration Software.

2. Application & Usage

This monitor card is a dedicated component of Bently Nevada 3500 TSI Machinery Protection System, mainly designed for online vibration monitoring and safety protection of aeroderivative gas turbines.

It is widely matched with distributed energy power station generator sets, offshore platform power units, emergency power generation equipment and aviation-derived power machinery, and also applicable to small centrifugal compressors and high-speed turbo machinery.

Covered industries: distributed gas power plants, offshore oil & gas platforms, chemical self-contained power plants, marine power and mobile emergency power stations.

It monitors vibration of gas turbine bearings, rotor blades and shafting in real time, and triggers alarms & emergency shutdown when vibration exceeds limits to prevent severe equipment damages such as shaft breakage and blade fracture. It complies with API 670 safety standards for rotating machinery.
