1. Dual-channel independent eddy current sensor signal acquisition Equipped with 2 isolated input channels compatible with eddy current displacement probes, specially designed to monitor shaft eccentricity and shaft bow of low-speed units (≤600 rpm). It captures tiny rotor deformation displacement that ordinary vibration modules cannot detect.
2. High-precision displacement measurement & signal calibration Adopts peak-to-peak displacement measurement with built-in automatic signal linearization algorithm to eliminate signal distortion caused by rotor rotation. The measurement accuracy reaches ±0.5% with a frequency response of 0.1~200 Hz, optimized for large sleeve-bearing equipment.
3. Multi-stage alarm & interlock protection output Supports configurable warning and danger threshold limits. When parameters exceed setpoints, it triggers front panel indicators and relay contact outputs to link unit trip signals and audible & visual alarms, realizing active safety protection for rotating machinery and meeting SIL safety standards.
4. 4-20mA analog signal transmission to DCS Configurable proportional 4~20mA standard output transmits eccentricity data to distributed control systems including Ovation and DeltaV for centralized monitoring and historical trend analysis.
5. Comprehensive built-in self-diagnosis Continuously monitors module power supply, hardware status, sensor open circuits, probe short circuits and cable faults. Fault data is uploaded to the control system for rapid troubleshooting, minimizing false and missed alarms.
6. Standard rack integration & system compatibility Standard Eurocard rack slot design, compatible with all AMS6500 series vibration, speed and temperature monitor cards. It seamlessly connects to the PlantWeb asset management platform and Emerson AMS predictive maintenance software.
7. Wide-temperature industrial stable performance Operating temperature range: -20°C ~ +60°C with robust EMC anti-interference performance, supporting 24/7 continuous operation in high-temperature and high-noise control cabinets of power plants and chemical plants.

Application Fields (Mainly for Large Low-Speed Rotating Equipment)

1. Thermal & Hydropower Plants (Primary Application) Steam turbines, water turbines, turbo-generators and large fans. It monitors shaft bow and eccentricity during startup, shutdown and stable operation to prevent severe unit damage caused by shaft rubbing and seal collision.
2. Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Industry Large reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, process booster units and furnace fans. It predicts abnormal shaft deformation and bearing clearance to avoid surge and unplanned production shutdowns.
3. Metallurgy & Heavy Manufacturing Steel rolling mills, large coal mills and high-power industrial turbines for online monitoring of long-term deformation of sleeve bearing rotors.
4. Nuclear Power Auxiliary Equipment Nuclear circulating water pumps and emergency turbine units, serving as critical safety monitoring hardware for unit protection.

Supplementary Lifecycle & Supply Information

1. Manufacturer Status: The entire A6220 monitor module series has been fully obsoleted by Emerson, with no brand-new original production available.
2. Market Supply: Only surplus overseas stock and refurbished second-hand modules are circulated through intermediate traders, all classified as resold spare parts.
3. Procurement Reminder: State-owned enterprises reject second-hand resold spare parts for audit compliance; new projects shall adopt the upgraded AMS6800 series as replacement. Private factories and overseas equipment maintenance projects can purchase stock spare parts.
