1. Multi-module mounting & expansion 8-wide DIN rail mounted carrier, supports up to 8 pieces of DeltaV I/O modules (Analog Input AI, Analog Output AO, Digital DI/DO, communication modules) for high-density modular expansion.
2. System power bus distribution Built-in internal power bus, draws power from the system power controller and distributes unified 24VDC working power to all plugged I/O modules, with a maximum total output current of 8A; no separate external power wiring required for individual cards.
3. Communication bridge between controller and field devices Equipped with exclusive DeltaV system bus, it establishes data transmission channels between DCS CPU controller and all I/O modules, transmitting field collected signals and control output commands. It supports hot-swap replacement of I/O modules without shutting down the whole control system.
4. Electromagnetic shielding & anti-interference performance Comes with integrated shield bar for electrical isolation of analog 4-20mA signals and weak communication signals, effectively reducing electromagnetic interference generated by inverters and motors in industrial sites, ensuring stable transmission of precise analog signals such as weight, temperature and flow.
5. Fault monitoring & alarm output Built-in relay contact for fault alarm; it outputs passive alarm signals to upper-level audible & visual alarm devices when power supply failure, bus communication interruption or fiber link breakdown occurs.
6. Wide temperature industrial protection Operating temperature range: -40℃ ~ +70℃, equipped with reverse polarity protection and 1500V DC electrical isolation, applicable to harsh industrial environments with high/low temperature and dust.

2. Product Application Purpose

1. Compatible System: Emerson DeltaV M-Series Series 2 Distributed Control System (DCS)
2. Product Positioning: The basic mounting carrier of the I/O subsystem for the whole control system. All field signal acquisition and actuator control cards must be plugged into this carrier to connect to the DCS controller.
3. Supported Matched Modules Analog Output (AO) cards (for weight controller and regulating valve control signal output), Analog Input (AI) cards (temperature, pressure, weight sensor signal collection), digital I/O modules, Profibus DP communication modules.
