TPMC917 is a single‑width 32‑bit PMC mezzanine board complying with IEEE P1386.1 and PCI 2.1 specifications. It works as an expansion daughter‑card for MVME‑series VME single‑board computers. This product has reached end‑of‑life (EOL); original new manufacturing is discontinued. Available supplies are limited to surplus stock and refurbished used units. It is widely deployed in thermal power, gas turbine, railway transit and military embedded real‑time systems running VxWorks, QNX and other real‑time operating systems.

Main Functions

1. Power‑fail safe data storage: On‑board lithium‑battery‑powered non‑volatile SRAM. TPMC917‑10R provides 4 MB memory divided into two independent banks. It automatically switches to onboard lithium battery upon main power loss to preserve critical operational data, configuration and event logs. 24‑hour automatic battery voltage monitoring with low‑voltage interrupt alarm function.
2. Serial communication expansion: Four ESD‑protected (±15 kV) RS232 asynchronous channels. Each channel is equipped with independent 64‑byte transmit / receive FIFO buffers, supporting baud rate up to 115.2 Kbps. 3. Bus compatibility: Standard PMC form‑factor, supports both 3.3 V and 5 V PCI signaling voltages. It can be directly mounted onto VME single‑board computers such as MVME5500. Selectable backup power source via DIP switch: onboard lithium battery or external battery.
4. Wide‑range industrial operation: Operating temperature range ‑40 ℃ ~ +85 ℃ for harsh industrial environments. Supports multiple real‑time OS including VxWorks, Linux, QNX and LynxOS.
