2. Core Functions

Dual Thermal-Magnetic Motor Protection Thermal overload protection via bimetallic strip trips automatically under long-term motor overload to prevent winding burnout; adjustable current dial matches rated motor current. Instantaneous magnetic short-circuit protection cuts power within milliseconds during phase-to-phase or earth short-circuit faults, avoiding fire hazards from large fault current. Optimized to avoid false tripping during normal motor startup inrush current. The TEST button allows manual inspection of thermal trip function.
Phase Loss / Open Phase Protection Instant tripping if any one of three phases loses power, eliminating overheating damage caused by single-phase motor operation under unstable industrial three-phase power grids.
Integrated Local Manual Start & Stop Control Black START button closes main circuit to energize motor; red STOP button cuts power for normal shutdown or emergency stop. Small single-motor systems can omit AC contactors to simplify cabinet wiring layout.
Optional Auxiliary Signal Contacts (Attachment Version) Side-mounted auxiliary contact module provides signal feedback for PLC and alarm indicators:

NC contact (31-32): Opens upon breaker fault trip for fault alarm signal transmission
NO contact (43-44): Closes when breaker is closed to transmit motor running status feedback

Standard Industrial Installation & Safety Performance 3-phase main terminals: Top terminals 1L1/3L2/5L3 for incoming power; bottom terminals 2T1/4T2/6T3 connect to motor load. IP20 protection rating, snap-on DIN rail mounting design, compatible with full TeSys control components. Isolation function meets industrial maintenance safety standards for safe power cut-off during motor overhaul.
Regular Function Self-Test Built-in TEST button on front panel to manually verify overload trip performance for routine equipment maintenance.
