Product Background
MMLG01 belongs to ALSTOM Midos relay‑protection accessory family. ALSTOM Grid business was later taken over by GE Vernova. It is a dedicated safety test‑interface module for power‑system relay‑protection panels.
‑ It is rack‑mount plug‑in module, working in pair with dedicated test plug MMLB01.
‑ It contains 14 independent circuits wired to CT / PT secondary circuits at rear terminals. Internal spring‑loaded contacts keep closed for normal protection‑loop continuity.
‑ When MMLB01 test plug is inserted, internal contacts open field circuits safely and connect test instruments. It prevents dangerous high‑voltage caused by CT secondary open‑circuit. No field wiring removal is required for secondary‑injection protection test.
‑ OEM production discontinued (EOL). Mainly supplied as spare parts for substation & power‑plant panel maintenance.

- Mechanical interlock safety Opening front cover or inserting test plug will cut off trip auxiliary circuits automatically to avoid accidental protection tripping during test.
