It is a standard 6U VME form‑factor board occupying one single slot in VME chassis.
It is powered by Freescale(NXP) MPC8641D dual‑core PowerPC e600 processor up to 1.3 GHz. Max 2 GB DDR2‑ECC memory with NOR/NAND flash storage. It supports 2eSST high‑speed VMEbus protocol with throughput up to 320 MB/s, backward‑compatible with legacy VME64 / VME32 systems to preserve customer existing hardware investment.
