Product Background

FAU810 is ABB’s modern‑generation intelligent flame‑analysis processor, belonging to the Uvisor™ flame‑scanner family, successor to older ABB Bailey flame‑detection products, part of ABB Symphony Plus combustion safety platform. It is a modular split‑design device: the FAU810 processing module plugs into the dedicated base. The base provides power input, field‑wiring terminals, DIP‑switch configuration, shared power / RS‑485 bus for multi‑unit networking, and DIN‑rail mounting. It is designed to work with ABB SF810 / DFS series flame detector probes. It is widely used for boiler combustion safety monitoring; it is also a common retrofit spare for old‑generation ABB flame‑monitoring systems.
