- Implements A24/D16 VMEbus communication interface; supports 2K‑byte Short‑I/O or standard memory address mapping for host CPU access. Each MODULbus socket owns independent 512‑byte address space.
- Supports vector‑based interrupt generation from each sub‑module; interrupt level and interrupt vector are user‑configurable via hardware jumper settings, delivering hardware event signals to VME system host controller.
- I/O signals can be routed via front‑panel connectors or VME P2 backplane connector for flexible cabinet wiring layout.
- Optional onboard DC/DC converter variant (VMOD‑IO/E) supplies ±15V auxiliary power for analog MODULbus sub‑modules.
