Main Function

1. Accepts incremental encoder differential A/B/Z phase pulse signals (RS‑422 / TTL level) from rotary pulse encoders.
2. Provides isolated encoder power supply (15 VDC / 24 VDC selectable) for external encoder hardware.
3. Conditions, filters and transfers encoder pulse feedback to ABB drive controller for closed‑loop speed and position calculation.
4. Delivers galvanic isolation between encoder field side and drive control circuits to suppress industrial electromagnetic interference.
5. Supports pulse input frequency up to 300 kHz, compatible with wide range encoder PPR resolutions.
6. Built‑in signal fault monitoring; LED status indicators for power, communication and encoder signal health diagnosis.
7. Communicates with drive unit via optical fibre link to improve noise immunity in heavy‑EMI industrial environments.
