Function

This is a field termination assembly (FTA) for analog output signals under Honeywell TPS UCN architecture. It receives digital control commands converted into analog signals from the AO IOP card.
Provides multi-channel analog output terminals, mainly supporting 4–20mA current signals to drive field modulating actuators and control valves.www.plcva.com
Each channel has over-current, short-circuit protection circuit and channel isolation design to prevent field-side fault from damaging the backplane IOP card.
Built-in loop monitoring circuit, supporting open-loop and short-circuit fault diagnosis, and feeds fault status back to DCS controller.
Adopts compression terminal blocks for convenient field wiring, stable connection and anti-vibration performance in industrial cabinet environment.
Transmits analog control signal to field control devices, realizes the output of PID calculation result from controller.

Note: This FTA board cannot independently process control logic; it must work with the corresponding Analog Output IOP processor card.

System Compatibility: Matched with Honeywell TPS (TotalPlant Solution) DCS system, communicates via UCN Universal Control Network.
