1.Core Functions

1. Mixed analog & digital signal conditioning and isolation: Receive 4-20mA analog signals (pressure, temperature, flow, vibration) and discrete digital on/off signals from field transmitters, switches and valves; provide galvanic isolation and noise filtering for harsh plant EMI environment.
2. Dual-direction data communication gateway: Support CCC proprietary internal rack bus to exchange real-time data with the main MCP controller; also support Modbus TCP / Modbus RTU over Ethernet and RS485 to communicate with DCS, SCADA and HMI systems.www.plcva.com
3. I/O channel self-diagnosis: Continuously detect wire break, short circuit, signal over-range and communication failure; generate alarm codes and upload fault information to the main controller for trip and interlock logic.
4. Signal routing & termination: Bridge field wiring and the central control rack, separating field cables from main control electronics to simplify maintenance and reduce replacement downtime.
5. Hot-swap capability: Support hot swapping inside redundant CCC racks; module replacement will not interrupt compressor anti-surge protection and safety interlock loops.
6. Data buffering & timestamping: Buffer real-time process variables and tag time stamps for compressor performance monitoring, event logging and post-failure root cause analysis.
