- Acts as signal interface backplane between the main processor unit and field discrete devices, collecting digital input signals and outputting digital control commands.
- Equipped with optocoupler galvanic isolation, isolating the control circuit from field side to suppress electrical noise, surge interference and protect the core control hardware.
- Receives switch status signals from on-site sensors, limit switches, relays and contactors; outputs switch control signals to drive field actuators.
