2. Main Functions
- High-speed combined I/O unit for AC800PEC controller, collecting analog and digital signals including generator PT/CT voltage, current, excitation current and rotational speed.
- Receives calculation commands from main controller and outputs thyristor firing pulse signals to drive excitation rectifier bridges.
- Integrated multi-channel high-speed analog inputs, digital I/O and pulse interfaces to meet microsecond-level timing requirements of excitation closed-loop control.
- On-board hardware signal conditioning, overvoltage/overcurrent signal limiting, wire break detection and channel self-diagnosis.
- Exchanges real-time data with PPD539A controller via internal high-speed bus, supporting AVR voltage regulation, PSS power system stabilizer and various excitation limit & protection loops.
- Supports stacked module expansion to suit excitation equipment for generators of different capacities.
- Uploads channel status and fault information to upper System 800xA monitoring system for alarms, waveform recording and event logging.
