1. Collect resolver analog position signals from each axis motor of ABB robot, convert analog resolver signals into digital position data.
2. Track and store revolution counter values of each motor, record robot axis calibration offset, mechanical zero point and position parameters, backed up by SMB battery to retain data after power off.www.plcva.com
3. Package all axes position data and transmit to IRC5 robot controller via serial communication bus.
4. Compare position data between SMB board and controller during power-up, detect data inconsistency and trigger fault alarms.
5. Support up to 7 axes position measurement, perform signal conditioning and basic channel self-diagnosis for resolver feedback circuit.
6. Maintain absolute position memory of robot axes, avoid losing origin position after power failure.
