Power circuit monitoring & fault diagnosis: Continuously monitors AC input, DC input, battery voltage, fuse status and internal power rail health. It detects power loss, low battery, open circuit and overload faults, and sends fault signals to the main CPU and remote alarm panel (RAP).
Power status indication logic: Drives LED status signals for AC supply, DC supply, battery backup and system error, synchronizes power alarm signals to bridge remote alarm panel.

Primary application: Core power control spare PCB for Furuno VR-3000 / VR-3000S Ship Voyage Data Recorder (VDR / S-VDR). Mounted inside the Data Collecting Unit .
System role: It is the power heart of VDR DCU. Without this board, the voyage data recorder cannot switch power sources, charge backup batteries or operate normally.
Marine safety objective: Guarantees uninterrupted VDR recording. In case vessel main power blackout, it switches to backup battery automatically to maintain at least 2 hours bridge audio recording, complying with IMO SOLAS VDR requirements.
