Product Description: Cylinder control module for the WECS-9520 system of Wärtsilä RT-flex electronically controlled low-speed main engine. Powered by 24VDC. Modularly installed in E95 cylinder control cabinet and E90 interface cabinet (reserved as online spare). Marine ruggedized design with anti-vibration, salt spray resistance and wide-temperature performance, class society certified. Equipped with high-speed CANopen and Modbus buses, it acquires crank angle signals and drives hydraulic solenoid valves to control the timing of cylinder fuel injection, exhaust valve and starting valve. It features on-board diagnosis and fault code logging functions.

WÄRTSILÄ FCM-20 Flex Control Module

Core Functions: Read signals from crankshaft angle encoder to calculate engine speed, crank angle and rotation direction; control fuel injection timing for individual cylinder; implement electronic timing control of exhaust valve and starting valve; monitor and regulate the pressure of servo oil rail and fuel common rail; collect in-cylinder parameters, store combustion-related data and manage IMO calibration parameters.

WÄRTSILÄ FCM-20 Flex Control Module

Application: Electronic control of main engines for large ocean-going vessels including container ships, bulk carriers, oil tankers and LNG carriers. One FCM-20 is equipped for each cylinder plus an additional spare module. It is a critical spare part for RT-flex common-rail electronic injection main engines. It is not a main engine remote safety board, but a direct in-cylinder control unit.
