II. Core Functionality
It is a transfer bridge between the EtherCAT industrial bus network ↔ the NX series local I/O backplane:
Network side: Connects the EtherCAT master bus of Omron NJ/NX/NY series Sysmac motion controllers;
Local side: The backplane of NX Bus can be equipped with all NX series I/O modules such as digital input/output, analog quantity, temperature, encoder, high-speed counter, etc.;
