III. Core Working Principle
The sensor emits infrared light internally. When an object is present in front of it, the light is reflected back to the sensor’s receiving window, and the internal circuit conducts, outputting a low-level signal through the black output line. The PLC collects this signal and determines “material is in place / there is an object”; when there is no object blocking, there is no reflected light, and the signal is disconnected.
