Function:
AO845A is an analog output module of ABB S800 I/O series. It provides 8 channels of 4…20mA outputs with HART protocol support. The module receives control commands from AC800M controllers and converts them into 4–20mA analog signals to drive field control valves and actuators. It supports bidirectional communication with field smart instruments via HART to acquire device status and diagnostic data. Integrated with channel self-diagnosis and wire break detection, it communicates with the DCS system through Profibus DP.
Application Scenarios:
It works with ABB AC800M DCS systems, widely adopted in process industries including thermal power plants, chemical plants, oil & gas facilities, water treatment, metallurgy and paper-making. It is used for continuous closed-loop process control, and commonly supplied as spare parts for system expansion and legacy equipment retrofit.
