Function:

DSCS150 is a GCOM communication unit for ABB Advant Master DCS system. The module provides multiple galvanically isolated RS422/RS485 serial ports, supporting communication protocols including GCOM, Modbus RTU and DNP3. Acting as a system communication gateway, it enables bidirectional data exchange between DCS controllers and third-party PLCs, smart instruments, remote RTUs and auxiliary equipment. It supports protocol conversion, message diagnosis and link fault monitoring to reduce communication load of controllers and ensure stable communication under harsh industrial conditions.

Application Scenarios:

Designed for ABB Advant Master / MasterPiece200 distributed control systems. Widely deployed in thermal power plants, combined-cycle power plants, chemical plants, paper mills and oil & gas facilities. It is mainly supplied as spare parts for maintenance of legacy operational units, system expansion and retrofit projects for interconnection of new and old equipment.
