2. Main Functions

High-speed combined I/O unit for AC800PEC main controller, collecting real-time field signals including generator PT voltage, CT current, excitation current, rotational speed and digital signals.
Receives calculation commands from PPD539 controller and outputs thyristor firing pulses to drive excitation rectifier bridges for AVR automatic voltage regulation.
Equipped with multi-channel high-speed analog inputs, digital I/O and pulse interfaces to meet microsecond-level timing requirements for excitation closed-loop control.
On-board hardware signal conditioning, wire break detection, signal limiting and channel self-diagnosis, providing comprehensive excitation fault monitoring.
Exchanges real-time data with AC800PEC main controller via backplane high-speed bus, supporting AVR voltage regulation, PSS power system stabilizer and multiple excitation limit & protection loops.
Supports multi-module expansion to configure signal channels flexibly according to generator capacity.
Uploads channel faults, operating status and alarm information to System 800xA monitoring platform for event logging and fault waveform recording.
