2. Main Functions
- High-performance Hot Standby redundant CPU designed for GE RX3i platform, supporting primary/standby dual-CPU redundant architecture.
- Equipped with a 1GHz Celeron M processor, 64MB battery-backed user memory and 64MB non-volatile flash memory to execute automation control logic.
- Works with IC695RMX128 / IC695RMX228 synchronization modules to realize high-speed data mirroring between primary and standby CPUs.
- In case of primary CPU failure or power loss, the standby CPU performs bumpless automatic switchover with minimum switchover time of 3.133 ms to maintain uninterrupted operation. Manual switchover is also supported.
- Communicates with local I/O modules via backplane bus. Integrated RS232/RS485 serial ports support Modbus RTU, SNP and other protocols for connection with HMIs and supervisory computers.
- Supports multiple programming languages: Ladder Diagram, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram and C language.
- Provides built-in hardware self-diagnosis, fault alarming, program upload/download and real-time clock management.
- Can operate as a single standalone CPU, or deployed in pairs to build high-availability redundant control systems.
