Functions

1. Supplies stable DC power to CPU and all I/O modules installed in the Tricon main chassis. It is the core power unit of the control system.
2. Supports redundant power configuration in the chassis. Two power supplies work in parallel. If one unit fails, the other takes over power supply seamlessly to prevent system shutdown caused by power loss.
3. Built-in hardware self-diagnosis. Alarms for power abnormality, overload and short circuit can be transmitted to the control system.
4. Hot-swap capable. The module can be replaced online without shutting down the whole control system.
5. Works together with Tricon chassis backplane to provide continuous and reliable power for the entire TMR safety control system.

Applications

1. Widely used for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD) in oil & gas, petrochemical, coal chemical, power plant and LNG facilities.
2. Serves as critical spare part for existing Tricon systems to ensure stable operation of CPU, analog and digital I/O modules.
3. Mainly used for maintenance, spare parts replacement and revamp of legacy Tricon installations. Trident series components are recommended for new projects.
4. Typical applications: power supply for compressor protection systems, reactor safety interlock systems, flare control systems and other critical safety control cabinets.
