Functions

1. Matched with Tricon series I/O modules. It acts as signal transition terminal board connecting field cables and TMR input/output modules.
2. Collects wiring from field transmitters, solenoid valves and instruments, and connects to rack I/O modules via prefabricated cables.
3. Equipped with terminals for signal wiring. Some variants integrate fuses, surge protection and auxiliary circuits for loop monitoring.
4. Separates field external wiring and internal rack modules. It facilitates field wiring, maintenance, circuit testing and troubleshooting.
5. Standardized design for DIN rail mounting in control cabinets. It must be used together with corresponding Triconex I/O modules.

Note: The terminal board cannot work independently. It needs to be matched with analog or digital I/O modules to form complete signal loops.

Applications

1. Deployed in Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD) for oil & gas, petrochemical, coal chemical, power plants and LNG facilities.
2. Serves as supporting spare part for Triconex I/O modules, used for revamp and maintenance of legacy Tricon control systems.
3. Receives cables from field transmitters, valves, relays and alarm devices to build safety interlock signal loops.
4. Typical applications: wiring for compressor protection systems, reactor safety interlocks, emergency shutdown loops, level and pressure process monitoring loops.

Note: 3000520-390C1R is the part number of terminal board. It is also known as wiring baseplate and must be verified for compatibility with relevant I/O modules.
