1.Core Functions
- Physical mounting base for relay modules It serves as a standard chassis base frame to mount and support relay output cards matched with CSI 6500 system, standardizing the layout of relay units inside control cabinets, with standardized rack dimensions compatible with industrial cabinet mounting rails.
- Integrated transmission of redundant signal backplane bus Equipped with integrated dedicated printed circuit backplane, it provides dual-channel redundant communication bus to realize stable bidirectional transmission between main monitoring unit and relay cards. Dual redundant signal links ensure alarm and interlock output will not be interrupted if one single channel is disconnected.
- Zoned wiring isolation for weak & strong current circuits The backplane adopts circuit zoning design to separate low-voltage DCS control signals and high-power relay output circuits. Built-in isolation structure prevents reverse damage to front-end vibration monitoring mainboards caused by high-voltage surges and electromagnetic interference.
- Integrated terminal blocks for multi-channel contact loops The frame integrates standardized terminal blocks for centralized wiring of field solenoid valves, alarm lights and unit emergency shutdown interlock circuits, simplifying field wiring and facilitating maintenance, circuit verification and troubleshooting.
- Hardware support for bumpless switchover of redundant relays Specially designed for dual redundant relay modules. The backplane hardware links support bumpless primary-standby switchover. If one relay channel fails, the backplane automatically switches to the standby channel to guarantee no loss of unit safety interlock signals.
- Unified power distribution and branch overcurrent protection Internal power distribution circuits inside the backplane supply operating power uniformly to all relay cards in the rack. Branch current limiting design ensures short circuit of a single relay load only cuts off the corresponding channel without affecting other modules in the rack.
- Mechanical protection and integrated grounding for the whole system The integrated metal frame provides anti-seismic and anti-collision protection inside cabinets. Dedicated common grounding busbar is reserved to converge all signal shield wires and relay power ground lines, reducing on-site interference and complying with safety grounding standards for power plants and chemical explosion-proof facilities.

It is the installation foundation and signal transfer carrier of the execution layer at the rear end of CSI 6500 online vibration monitoring system.
