  1. Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) Fault-Tolerant Architecture (Core Safety Feature) Three fully independent internal circuits and processors run in parallel with hardware voting logic. Single-point failures of any circuit, chip or channel are automatically masked by the system; the remaining two channels maintain normal output without false trips or process shutdown. Complies with IEC 61508 SIL 3 high process safety standards to eliminate safety system failure risks.
  2. High-Density 40-Channel 24 VDC Digital Output Driving 40 discrete digital output channels in total, divided into 5 independent power groups (8 channels per group). Each channel supports continuous 2A output current with a maximum 8A total current per group. Directly drives solenoid valves, shutdown valves, audible/visual alarms, contactors and relays. Independent power isolation prevents cross-group fault propagation.
  3. Full Circuit Loop Diagnostics & Fault Detection Optional line monitoring function continuously detects field wiring faults including open circuits, short circuits, broken cables and missing loads. Fault codes are uploaded to the safety controller within milliseconds, with 1ms resolution Sequence of Events (SOE) logging to pinpoint failure locations and reduce maintenance downtime.
  4. Built-In Electronic Overcurrent & Short-Circuit Protection Each channel integrates electronic current limiting and latching protection without external fuses. Short-circuited field cables trigger instant channel cut-off, with automatic recovery after fault clearance to protect the module and field valves/instruments from burnout.
  5. Hot-Swap Maintenance Without Process Shutdown Supports online hot swapping on Trusted rack backplanes; faulty T8451 modules can be replaced individually while the production process remains running. Standard backplane slot plug-in design compatible with the full Trusted safety system rack.
  6. Wide Temperature Range for Harsh Industrial Environments Wide-temperature variant operates from -40°C to +85°C, standard version from -20°C to +60°C. High vibration and EMI resistance for high-temperature, low-temperature and heavy electromagnetic interference conditions in chemical, oil & power plants.
  7. Execution of Safety Logic Commands Receives interlock, Emergency Shutdown (ESD), fire protection and unit trip logic commands from Trusted safety CPUs, and transmits stable discrete signals to field safety actuators. Serves as the core interface between Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and field equipment.
