1. Profinet IO Bus Protocol Communication Dedicated communication card matching ABB AC 800M DCS controllers, acting as a Profinet IO master station card compliant with standard Profinet IO industrial Ethernet protocol, enabling bidirectional real-time data exchange between DCS systems and all Profinet IO slave devices.
2. Dual-Port Industrial Ethernet Communication Equipped with dual standard RJ45 Ethernet ports for Profinet IO real-time channels, compatible with distributed IO modules, servo drives, variable frequency drives, remote transmitters and other Profinet field devices; supports RT real-time communication and high-speed synchronous IRT mode.
3. DCS Controller Bus Channel Expansion & Communication Load Sharing Mounted on CI840 / CI801 communication bases to expand external bus interfaces of controllers. It undertakes massive communication tasks of field IO equipment to prevent main controller communication overload and control cycle delay.
4. Process Data Mapping & IO Point Exchange Map analog and digital control points inside DCS to Profinet IO process data areas; synchronously collect field slave digital signals, analog values, equipment status and fault codes to DCS control programs, with read & write access to device parameters.
5. Redundancy Compatibility for High Availability Supports module redundancy and MRP (Media Redundancy Protocol) Profinet ring network architecture. Built-in LED indicators for operation status, fault alarm and network link status to real-time diagnose cable disconnection, module breakdown, bus error and slave offline failures.
6. Synchronous Motion Control Compatibility Supports isochronous real-time IRT communication, compatible with high-precision servos and motion controllers to satisfy multi-axis synchronous linkage control on production lines.
7. Equipment Diagnosis & Online Maintenance Supports standard Profinet diagnostic alarms. Field equipment faults can be directly checked on DCS operator screens; slave device parameters can be modified online without production shutdown or hardware disassembly.
