1.Core Functions

1. Closed-Loop Calculation & Control for Excitation Regulation Serves as the core control board of the excitation regulator. It collects analog signals including generator stator voltage, rotor current and reactive power, executes PID closed-loop calculation, and outputs regulation commands to control power rectifier units to stabilize generator terminal voltage and reactive power output.
2. Multi-Channel Analog & Digital Signal Acquisition Equipped with multi-channel signal conditioning circuits to collect secondary signals from voltage transformers and current transformers, as well as digital signals of on-site limit switches and circuit breaker status. It converts high/low voltage field signals into standard digital signals inside the board.
3. System Logic Interlock & Protection Judgment Built-in hardware logic circuits to identify excitation system faults such as overexcitation, underexcitation, overcurrent, loss of excitation, under-frequency and overvoltage. When faults are detected, interlock trip signals are sent to trigger generator protection loops and prevent unit damage.
4. Regulated Pulse Signal Output Sends phase-shift trigger pulses to thyristor rectifier bridges of excitation power cabinets, precisely adjusting thyristor conduction angles to change excitation output current and realize continuous smooth regulation of generator voltage and reactive power.
5. Multi-Channel Communication Data Exchange Supports internal bus communication of excitation systems. It uploads generator excitation operating parameters and fault alarm codes to upper monitoring screens and DCS systems, and receives voltage setpoints and reactive power regulation commands from central control.
6. Dual Unit Redundant Coordinated Control Compatible with dual hot standby excitation regulator architecture. Two PFSK160A boards synchronize data in real time; seamless switchover from active board to standby board occurs upon active board failure to ensure uninterrupted stable operation of generator sets.
7. Local Fault Diagnosis & Status Indication Onboard LED status indicators display power supply, communication, pulse output and fault status in real time. Onboard storage unit records fault occurrence time and fault types for maintenance personnel to trace fault causes.
8. Wide-Temperature Industrial Anti-Interference Hardware Design Adaptable to power plant cabinet environments with heavy dust, strong electromagnetic interference and extreme temperatures. Built-in filter anti-interference circuits resist strong magnetic fields in excitation cabinets for long-term continuous stable operation.
