1. Comprehensive Power System Fault Protection (Core Function) Provides full set of feeder protective elements: time/instantaneous directional phase overcurrent, neutral zero-sequence ground fault, sensitive restricted earth fault, negative sequence unbalanced overcurrent, overvoltage/undervoltage, underfrequency, arc flash fast detection, reverse power protection for distributed generation, breaker failure protection, bus interlock and automatic bus transfer logic.

Fault Oscillography & Sequence of Event Recording Captures full voltage/current waveform pre/post fault for accident analysis; millisecond-level SOE event logging synchronized via IRIG-B time code, stores trip records, alarm status, setting modification and switch position changes for complete system fault tracing.
3. Multi-protocol Communication for SCADA & DCS Integration Supports Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3.0 and IEC 61850 Ethernet communication; 8-channel 4–20 mA analog outputs transmit load data to distributed control systems; local keypad configuration and remote parameter setting/firmware upgrade via GE EnerVista software.
4. Multi-setting Groups & Access Security 4 independent groups of protection settings for automatic seasonal/load switching; passcode lock and hardware anti-tamper design to avoid unauthorized parameter changes.

2. Application Scope & Usage

1. Primary Main Protection for Medium-Voltage Distribution Substation Feeders 10kV / 35kV switchgear outgoing feeder primary protection, compatible with solidly grounded, ungrounded and high-impedance grounded distribution grids; integrates multiple discrete relays into one single unit to reduce cabinet space.
2. Gas Turbine & Power Plant Auxiliary Power Systems

• Main & backup protection for plant high-voltage auxiliary feeders of gas turbine combined-cycle power stations
• Anti-islanding and reverse power interconnection protection for PV & wind distributed generation
• Backup protection for high-voltage motor loads in power plant auxiliary workshops

3. Heavy Industrial Power Distribution Networks Oil & gas offshore platforms, mining, metallurgy, chemical and large manufacturing factory medium-voltage power rooms; implement under-frequency load shedding and bus section automatic transfer control for multiple factory feeders.
4. Utility Grid Substation & Rail Transit Power Supply City distribution substation line backup protection, bus blocking schemes; medium-voltage feeder monitoring & protection for metro and high-speed railway traction power substations.
5. Maintenance Spare Part Note SR750 series is a legacy GE Multilin relay (discontinued by original manufacturer, replaced by Model 850). This model is widely used as replacement spare parts for overhaul and maintenance of existing power plant, substation and offshore energy equipment.
